Activity 2 - Create a poster 

Once you've selected your book, you now need to design a poster. You can use Canva as I have used below with your parents help, or you can draw by hand and upload it below on the padlet. 

 

How to Make Your Poster in Canva

Steps for Students

1. Open Canva
   Go to canva.com and log in. Click Create a design → Poster.
2. Choose a template
   Pick a colourful template you like or start with a blank poster.
3. Add your book title and author
   Click Text, type the title and author, and make it big and clear.
4. Add pictures or drawings
   Click Uploads → Upload files to add your own pictures or drawings. Drag them onto your poster.
5. Add a short description
   Write 1–2 sentences about your favourite part of the story or why you like the book.
6. Decorate your poster
   Add colours, shapes, or stickers to make it fun and creative.
7. Save your poster
   Click Share → Download → choose PNG or PDF and save it with your name.
8. Add your poster to the padlet below
