Activity 3

Activity 3- Flashcards

Now that you have chosen your book and created your poster, it’s time to make your flashcards for your presentation. Here is an example of my flashcards. I used Wordwall.net, but you can also make your flashcards by hand and upload them.

How to Make an “Unjumble” Activity in Wordwall and Save to Seesaw

Steps for Students

  1. Go to Wordwall
    Open wordwall.net and log in.

  2. Create a new activity

    • Click Create Activity → Unjumble.

  3. Add your words or sentences

    • Type a word or short sentence from your favourite book in the “Answer” box.

    • Wordwall will automatically mix up the letters for students to unscramble.

    • Example:

      • Answer: “Rainbow” → Wordwall shows: “wibnaro” for players to unjumble.

  4. Add more words

    • Click + Add Question to create more unjumble items for characters, key words, or important ideas from your book.

  5. Preview your activity

    • Click Play / Preview to make sure all the words are correct and unscramble properly.

  6. Save your activity

    • Click Save → give your activity a name, for example: Firstname_Unjumble.

  7. Download or take screenshots

    • You can take screenshots of your activity or use Wordwall’s Print / PDF option.

  8. Upload to Seesaw

    • Open Seesaw → go to your class → click Add → Upload.

    • Choose your screenshots or PDF of the activity.

    • Add your name or a title.

Once you have created your flashcards, post them below. Click 'save my activity' to open the link to seesaw.
